I've been eagerly awaiting a statement from Harold Camping regarding 10/21 myself... But I haven't found one yet.
All I've found is this: http://global.christianpost.com/news/harold-camping-oct-21-rapture-family-radio-to-shut-down-after-another-wrong-doomsday-prediction-59061/ |

Yeah, I more worry about what the nutcases will do.
Has there been a statement from "Oct 21st" guy? Or did he get rapture'd... or commit seppuku? |

I'm a little intrigued to see what this time next year will start looking like.
I mean, even I'm pretty damned nervous. So I think the world is going to end? No. And actually, for the same reasons you've stated, Bitmap, as well as others. But what's unsettling to me is what kind of panic will ensue? I'm hoping I'll get to laugh the entire time and go "HA!" throughout and after. Just like Y2K. Remember that? Hahahahahahahahaha. But the paranoid idiocy is what's unsettling. Part of me knows much laughter will ensue though. |

You know, this whole thing will be nothing when 2012 rolls around. This is just really a sample on how stupid can really be.
I mean, if the end of the World does happen on 2012 I can at least say I had a good run and all. But honestly, the End of the World happens every day. Read NASA's website, you won't believe how close meteors come CLOSE to hitting this planet every week of the year. If that does not scare you I dunno what will. Plus, According to the Bible. Christ has to return first before this whole thing comes around. Christ, was not in the form of WBC, and they were around for a good while now. They are not "Christ". And if they were, the world should have ended five years ago. Finally, there were biblical statements that Christ should be known throughout the world on his return. No one saw that. And it has not happened. Sorry, end of the world can not happen at this time! 2012 is also going to be bubcus. |

Dun dun dun....I love the "That was awkward" sign though. XD
As a joke, a friend of mine has posted pictures of just his clothes, shoes and all, just laying on his bed. No comment, no description. Just that. It was hilarious at the time. XD |

Depending on which coast you're on, he's only got a few hours left to be proved right. |

Bumped because it's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine. |

So what happens to all his stuff if he had been raptured? |

Camping revised his prophecy to Oct. 21.

I thought it was quite funny how people could be swayed to believe such a story. Really, Religion is good, but it cannot be allowed to goad your life to the point where it dictates your every move. Religion is good for keeping you out of trouble, but when it comes to judgement day and those types, religion is going a bit too far.
I think that even after this failure, there are still going to be a few silly people who think that that world is going to end 2012. |

I always hate that lady in movies. |

Originally posted by Yasu Yeah and I read in the ATL times that a bunch of college kids purchased a ton of Sex blow up dolls, filled them up with helium, and let them soar in the air. Making it look like a bunch of people were really getting raptured. (Also stolen from a movie.) Camping also made a Statement saying that he was "Bewildered and "mystified" by the fact that he was wrong. Again. Even the Simpsons made fun of this. |

Originally posted by Elara Maybe he was Rapture'd. While walking around this geek faire in the Bay Area yesterday, we kept seeing piles of clothes and shoes lying around. |
