I'd just like to say that while I'm disappointed with Barack Obama becoming president, then I still support him and his presidency, and will still act to defend and honor him.
I won't enjoy it, but I refuse to do the republican equivalent of "General Betrayus," if only because by winning the elction he's earned that right. In other words, I won't support what he does, but as our new ruler, I'll support him. |

It seems that most things I wanted went through, except Prop 8 and 9. |

It's insanity.
L.A. county needed a 2/3 majority vote to pass the much-needed public transportation measure (which I proudly voted YES on), but it only needs a majority to AMEND THE CONSTITUTION? It's so freaking close too. I mean, yeah, I know this doesn't affect a lot of you reading this, but I'm disgusted (and I'm not even gay). |

They're not done counting votes yet, but it's not looking good.
I'm very annoyed with some of my fellow students in class. All I've heard is NO opinions, and now that it looks like Prop 8 might go through, suddenly all of the YES people came out of hiding to voice their dissent of gay rights and marriage today. Are you fucking serious? Other results here: http://vote.sos.ca.gov/props/index.html |

I'm not able to vote for a few years.
I forgot to grab the free hot chocolate in the front of the school. CURSES! Oh well. I would've written in a vote, anyways >.> Anyways... |

Originally posted by Shuyin But as of right now, the No's are only losing by 300,000 votes, and only 48% of the precincts have given their info on it. |

The Daily Show is gonna lose one of their best sources for comedic material in a couple of months.
Good to see Obama winning and all. With Bush out I hope it brings some social changes to Canada, by which I mean toning down the smug sense of superiority we got going on here. "lol amerika is dum" ~Moron Teenager It gets really annoying. Such painful irony is hard to bear. |

I didn't vote and uh, kind of didn't realize/forgot until a few days ago this only happens every four years. Haha, "whoops"? Guess I'll wait until next time, but I really was in the belief that he'd win by far. |

Voted on Sunday. Obama and No on 8.
And damned if we lose on 8, but that won't keep me down. Fuck you Yes on 8 people, we're going to get to our marriages whether you like it or not! |

I couldn't vote because I registered too late. |

Obama only needs 100 more electoral votes to win, and California will account for 55 of that when the polls close in an hour.
Florida also hasn't been counted yet, but FiveThirtyEight has it as Dem this year. They have Obama projected at getting almost 350 electoral votes. |
