Indeed, you are costing them money. |

If they're free shakes, Chick-fil-A isn't getting any money anyway. |

um... I have friends who work there that give me free shakes... You all will NOT take my shakes away. =P |

Valhalla, you're great.
I, too, am for gay rights. I will try to hold my vegetarian-self back from indulging in their chicken. But seriously, I'm tired of religion effecting every day, especially for those who don't believe in it. And now for it to spread to a simple fast-food chain? If 2012 does signal the end of the world, it will be because of stupid shit like this. |

Had a sandwich there once. Didn't like it. Not really a fan of chicken sandwiches anyway.
Boycott irrelevant to me; none within walking distance anyway. And Gurren, that's awesome. |

Ha, I like that analogy... wrong as it sounds.
But yeah, I just think it is kinda wrong that they are fine with taking gay people's money for their overpriced and mediocre food, and then using that money to fund groups that try to deny them rights. And honestly, the one or two times I ate there, I honestly wished I had gone elsewhere. Wendy's, KFC, Jack in the Box, and even Carl's have WAY better chicken sandwiches for a better price. |

I personally believe that religion is like a penis: It's okay to have one, it's okay to be proud of it, but please don't whip it out in public and start waving it around and please don't try to shove it down my children's throats! |

Honestly, no surprise. They're privately owned, and much like also-privately-owned In-N-Out, they were started by a Christian. Chick-fil-As are closed on Sundays, because they believe in honoring the Lord's day.
I'm an adamant supporter of gay rights, and I always will be. But I'm an even bigger supporter of being allowed to believe what you want and so on. It's their right to give, but then again, it's the consumers' right to not buy. I probably won't eat there any time soon -- Mostly for the fact that they are a bit pricey for a simple chicken sandwich and waffle fries and I've never found myself craving anything they offer. |

Chick-fil-A, a fast food chain that claims to have invented the chicken sandwich, has been exposed as a supporter of anti-gay organizations fighting to prevent marriage equality. As a result, the gay community and their supporters are asking people to boycott the company and word is spreading via Facebook by sharing of this article
Your thoughts? Honestly, I ate their once back in California... they were overpriced and not that great. Regardless, I will not be eating there again and I am asking my friends to follow my lead. |
