any way, i just wanna post up my recent sword sprite... its kinda big, but i dont have a good enough program installed to do fine small detail work. im just getting into spriting and such, so i need yall commets. also, post requests for sprites and im sure people will answer if they see this. 
thats my sprite. its not great, but it took me about 30-40 minutes start to finish... |

| I'm gonna critsize your work...
If the sword you created is two handed, make the blade a lot longer and a little wider. If the sword you created is one handed, make the hand guard smaller and the blade length a bit longer. Those are my two cents. |

| yes, i see what you mean. I kinda wanted to make a in between type sword (as in you can use it one handed and double handed, like a katana). maybe, i can cut down the length of the blade or the grip of the blade to make it more of a 1 to 2 handed sword. ill post the enhanced version here when i fix it up. thnx for ur comments! | |||

Hold on Desroth... You need to make a good design instead of just one type of color. Take this sword for a example. 
See how that one side of the sword is darker then the on heafing northwest? Also, make sure you make a line to make the sword have a "sharp edge". And take a look at the hand guard too. It show many multiple color that seperate from being too "flat on" and make it more "pop-out". And the handle seem kinda weird along with the hand guard as well. However, the way you are drawing seem more like it should be a flat-on blueprint... You still need to color to make a more detail drawing too. This way, most people would see how details they describe in the way you draw it. |
