| Yeah, how are they even to announce the charges if the words for it are banned?
Honestly, this whole thing infuriated me when I heard about it. It really does come across as silencing the victim, and it discourages other victims from coming forward themselves. I mean, already many think "he'll get off, what's the point" and this just reinforces it. |

| Well, you said you're about to get your period, yes? After day one wave the first bloody pad/tampon in their faces and ask them to explain how you could have a period if you're pregnant. Have someone there with a camera to get their expression, it should be funny.
If that doesn't work, or would take too long, just get a test done and show them the results. But the first idea would be much more satisfying. ... | When I was in high school I developed the theory that I might have Bipolar II disorder (a milder form of manic depression, where the mania isn't near as bad). I cut myself when I was depressed... and I got caught after one particular incident in which I went knife happy. I saw my doctor for a referral to a psychiatrist... because the school made me. I told him my theory, he asked if I wanted a prescription for it. No disbelief, no thinking I should get a proper diagnosis, just "do you want me to prescribe you anti-depressants?"
I said no. I refused then, as I do now, to live my life taking pills that make me someone other than who I am. I never got a proper diagnosis, so I don't know if I am bipolar or not. The behavioral therapist I had to see was useless... I wanted out of there immediately. Why should I sit in a room and spill my feelings to a stranger who just looked at me and said nothing at all when I had my friends who at least gave me advice? I figure now that my theory was wrong, since a lot of the time I was depressed because things were not going well. Just like the article said. The mania part... well, maybe I am just crazy... in a good way though. |

But yeah, there are many good schools... you just need to research them. UCLA is good, so is USC but it is a private school so yeah, biased against it. Both schools have good econ/math programs. Hell check out the Cal State schools as well. If you get the really good grades and can afford it there is always a chance of getting into Harvard or Stanford. maybe Pepperdine or something. Granted, no matter where you go, econ and math are both rather dull majors. Define "public policy"... political science? Law? |

| Faith in, but are they your favorite?
I personally also love wolves for much the same reason as Pockets does. I also have always had a deep admiration for horses and cats (all cats, especially panthers). It is something about the way they move and their intelligence. Horses were my first favorite as a child, and although they don't hold the spot in my heart they once did, I will always consider them one of my favorites. I also like raccoons. Little bandits. |

I did 6 push ups this morning and 20 crunches. That has been the most exercise I've done in awhile. I want to do more to get in shape... but this heat is just so oppressive! Oh well, playing on the Wii helps burn calories too, so I guess I should do that more often. Perhaps I can use that excuse to make my parents get me one. |

I'm pacing, don't worry. I was proud about the push-ups though. Venomouslobster was all happy the other day because he could do 8 when two weeks ago he "couldn't even do one". I called him this morning after I did it just to tell him that I, while very much out of shape, did six. He's still in better shape than me though... makes me want to learn to juggle and unicycle even more.
