I really have to say that this whole xeodential debate spilling into other threads is really damn funny. Just don't go too overboard, okay guys. Otherwise the voters might elect the mystery guy out of spite, and we don't want that now, do we? As for post length... well, long ago I did write longer posts... and then all of my writing had to be redirected to my history classes and their demanding essays. Those bastards, stealing my desire to write. How dare they?! But it is okay now, I have escaped for the time being... and I don't think the education classes call for essays so much as weird projects and watching kids in a classroom so who knows? But that is nearly a year away so for now there shall be posting, and what glorious posting it shall be! Oh, and why have I not heard of these taco and pizza buffets before? I want tacos! |

Exactly. I remember always thinking how I was one of the few gamer girls, then I went to a gaming convention and learned that we are far more numerous than people think. Sure, male nerds still outnumber us but who cares?

As my dear WhiteRose has said though, the problem really is that like all guys, nerds look at appearance more than personality. To be fair though, so do women... we just have a broader category.

So for the past few days every time I get sent a pm it keeps showing up as new on my main page after I read it. When I get a new pm it says I have two, and checking it brings it back to one. I am really confused. |

I still need to read the Iliad and the Odyssey, even though I know the stories already. So I finished Relic, Reliquary, and Riptide by Preston and Child. Taken a break from the series because of school, and now because of my latest distraction: The Complete and Unabridged Works of H.P. Lovecraft. Never read any Lovecraft before and I must say that I am really enjoying it so far. Especially "The Rats in the Walls" because of just how awesome it was. I know it doesn't matter but I am resisting the urge to jump straight to "The Call of Cthulhu" since I want to see how the whole mythos develops.
