So Friday morning Ben did what can only be described as a "not-a-proposal". We were getting ready for gaming and he looked at me and the following dialogue occured: Ben: So, I was thinking... Elara: Yes? B: When we have some free time, we should go shopping so you can pick out a ring that you like. E: *pause and smirk* Is that a proposal? B: No, not really. I figure that I can do that once we have the ring. E: So why are you having me pick it out and spoil the surprise? B: So that I know it is a ring you want, beside I already know you will say yes. E: ... *roll eyes but smiling* Okay. So there you have it folks, I am "not-a-engaged." On a related side-note, why does anyone like square cut diamonds? |

| I don't need to spend money to say fuck you to 4chan, I do that all the time (/b ruins gaming).
I just bought a microfleece hoodie for the move. It is nice, warm and black... and soon to be coated in cat fur. Sucky thing is that I had to buy the xxl size just for sleeves that would not ride up when I bend my arm, I hate how they design women's sleeves to do that. |

| The reason we are comparing is because it is all like stuff that just came out... usually not a good idea to redo an idea that was just done unless you can do it in a 100% different way, otherwise people say "oh that is just a ripoff of *insert title here*"

| Ring achieved, thank you Jewelry Exchange. Went with a nice wedding set so we don't have to worry about matching the band to the engagement ring later. The diamond is pretty, though there are a few flaws, but it is still gorgeous. Whole thing was $851 after taxes... meaning I am paying rent this month.
Now I get to sit back and see how Ben does this. All I know is that it will happen by Halloween, since he did express the idea of doing it while we were on the cruise.... but yeah, no idea. |

Radio is saying that the beaches are gonna hit 95 today and that further inland it will possibly hit 110. Fucking hell man, did summer and fall swap places this year or something? Of course I also am linking this to what I call my mother's traveling curse... every time we would come back from a big trip there would be a major heatwave. Normally the trips were in July or August so that made sense, but it seems to happen no matter what now. She and my dad are coming home from a three week trip to see family this week... and look, heatwave. Seriously, what fell powers did that woman piss off? |

| I hear that Bioware hasn't licensed the first one, which I think is rather lame since you get stuff for transferring over your character from the first game. Hopefully they will release it as downloadable content.
