Out now on the Playstation Network!~ So I read the comics and I am getting pumped up over the movie. After seeing a lot of gameplay trailers I figured I would give this a go. It's $10 on the PSN and it's "Winner of E3" awards for best downloadable game. I have not played the game just yet (but the music is outstanding!). 77% done. Hurry up download! :argh: |

| So I have been following this anime ever since I even heard about it. I don't consider myself otaku on this; I do know one thing and one thing only. This anime owns.
This isn't your popular Naruto, or your gory Hellsing, or your deep Cowboy Bebop, or even your romantic Inyuasha. This anime combines everything you know and love about anime, makes it look childish, and turns your head around 360 degrees. It's epic! 
Pirates! With super powers! What more could you ask for? INTRODUCING: ONE PIECE! Tell me neckbeard. What is this One Piece? It looks silly It is. It ownes. It's fucking good. One Piece follows Monkey D. Luffy, with his companions Zorro, Nami, Sogeking, Tony Tony Chopper, and more on their adventures to find and retrieve One Piece! ...I just asked what was One Piece... One Piece in the anime is known as the world's greatest treasure. No one knows what it is, and it is sought after every pirate around the globe! So...there are superpowers? Indeed, there are the devil fruit users whom after eating the fruit will obtain powers based on the ability. Monkey D. Luffy owns the "Gum Gum" technique, therefore his body is made of rubber. Tony Tony Chopper ate the "Human Human" fruit, and therefore can be a reindeer one moment and a super human the next. However, it comes with a price. If any devil fruit user falls into the ocean sea, they will fall like a hammer in the water. They are vulnerable. Well that sounds swell; how many episodes are there? Is there a manga? Right now One Piece is on Episode 453, and the Manga has gone even further than that. So needless to say, there is a buttload to watch right now. So are there episodes where some pirate charges up his powerlevel and has to -- Stopping you right there. But no, there are no long sequences. After each and every battle. Each member in the Straw Hat crew learns and becomes even stronger than the last battle. Not going to spoil too much here, but once the Straw Hats fight CP9, you will see some serious shit going on. | Let me get this out of my chest:
Buy this game. That is if you have a PS3. For you 360 folks you will have to wait a month or so. But when this game hits near you, or if you have a chance to play this game. Play it. It's like a beat-em-up mixed in with an RPG. Plus, the music is fan fucking tastic. My dad and I played this game together though co-op and it's marvelous. Best part, the game does not punish you at all. Like say you have a lot of money saved up for some food, books, videogames, or music (All of which increase your stats) and you die. You won't lose your money nor your XP or skills. You can continue on like nothing happened. So grinding to make your stats higher (Buy buying things) makes the game easier indeed. Did I mention this game is hard at first? Because it is. If you don't grind a bit you will have thrown controllers. Also, play it on beginner. Trust me. It's even hard on easy. |

| I'm not going to post about the woman responsible for biking thousands of dollars wasted into this cause. Instead, I just hope people whom create these charities learn a lesson from this: mainly know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the person they are helping absolutely needs the help they deserve.
I mean I hate to change the hate finger on this one. But this is a step in the right direction to get people to really open their eyes and look at all the idiots in this world. People can do anything. Hell, every member here in this forum can make money off of a sobby story somehow. And I am not saying the woman is not guilty for anything. Hell, she should be fined! But I just want everyone to know that charity organizations / people just being kind hearted should do their research before using their energy / money into it. Hell, why do you think I am a Mason? I already donated money to the Shriner's hospital, not to mention raised over two grand for a little girl who had vaginal cancer. If you want to donate or do charity work around your area. Contact me, and I will be sure your work goes into the correct hands. |

I tell this to everyone who ask me this and their jaws drop. That's right, as much of a nerd I am; I have never seen the movies posted in the thread title. What is stopping you from watching them? Time, really. That and the money to actually buy the movies. I could rent them but I have no interest in watching the entire trilogy. What all do you know? I know Darth Vader is Luke's Father. I also know (Thanks to Clerks) that Lord of the Rings is Boring. But hell, I could watch it. You are a bad person for not watching those movies Do you think so?
