Track #2. on Among the Living by Anthrax.

Also, track number #5. on Live, The Island Years.
That one actually made me go through the old CD collection.

Name the song that was originally sung by Bon Jovi. Then later Atreyu did a cover for this song.

As much as I hate Atreyu and Bon Jovi, the only way I know of this is they recently started playing this kind of crap on the radio late at night and I just so happened to point out the rediculousness of it... The song I believe was You Give Love a Bad Name?

(I think this will be a pretty hard one for most people on the board so i will issue out a clue if i have to)

Heh, that's from Fear Before the March of Flames. The rest would be "...until there is spike in the punch," from the song Should Have Stayed In The Shallows.

Come on now, get something really difficult.

This one is a little bit more based on opinion, so it could be quite a few bands that have a quality and content similar to those mentioned.

So, I'm just going to go out on a limb and say the closest thing I can think of would be The Faint, although, I don't see where The Killers would be taken into place there?
But see, now that the indie-pop music scene is growing quickly and becoming more publicized, it could be a variety of bands from The Postal Service to Death Cab.

I made 2nd place?
I was on here like 15-20 minutes tops that day...
Hrm...
Activity has greatly reduced since I last visited here.
It used to be that in order to even make it on the top 10 you had to achieve at least twenty to thirty posts.
Oh well, at least the useless posters seem to have grown up or vanished.
Makes a board so much more enjoyable, does it not?

I believe the correct term for a non-alcoholic bottled beverage resembling wine, or champagne, is called *Sparkling Cider*...

Yeah.

I'm not sure wether it's gas or disgust, but that song gives me the feeling of defecating myself.
It could be gas though.
Or just pure disgust?
Probably a mixture of the two...

Ah, but I didn't say that it resembled wine or champagne, I just said it was in champagne glasses.

I was saving the sparkling cider for Xeo. The champagne is mine. :giggle:

If observed with only sight, apple cider in a champagne glass can easly be misconstrued with champagne.

Despite that, I doubt an imaginary glass of anything is going to satisfy anyones senses...
Where's my cheap California generic champagne that's $3 bucks a bottle at?!
I'm jones'in for a Mamosa right about now.

I too would have given a birthday wish, even when we were talking online that day; but I believe I'm still owed one from yourself as well.

So until then, August 13th is still just another day...

Damn, I found out too late...
A friend of mine was listening to The Bravery yesterday and it dawned on me.
I thought, wow, yet another pseudo-scene band that sounds exactally like The Killers, only worste.
And I put together, The Killers+current pop-music+XGF=The Bravery.

That hint just clarified it; but again, I'm just a little too late...

Something harder, mix in some good historical facts, and try and make them be a little less opinion oriented, seeing as how I don't think The Bravery should even have their name mentioned next to Joy Division in the same sentence...

I'm thinking Def Leppard.

No, thats Van Halen. Are you talking about the song in Top Gun?

Ah yeah, that's it.

I just heard it at work recently, and I've heard it on the radio a lot ... always loved the song, just never knew who it was.

That's not Van Halen, that's Kenny Loggins; the same guy who did alot of the big hits for Footloose.
Douche...

I don't recall ever complaining...
Nor offering assistance; but since it's already been thrown out there...

And Ponterios, there is a reason why you can't help today, and that's because you're going to go outside and ride a bike, or get some some sun and not sit on the computer all day.
It will help you in the long run...

Best Stones song ever! At least to me... I don't know why I like it so much, but I do. The beat is awesome, and the lyrics are just so damn catchy!

I can some what agree with that one; if you're a little sheltered from Stone's songs that weren't the singles...
I bet you also enjoy House of the Rising Sun - By The Animals; don't ya?
It's a great classic song, and is musically, lyrically, and subliminally just as catchy.
Gotta love that complimentary Sitar sound that the 60's and 70's emphasized so much.

If you're looking to possibly broaden your musical horizons, there is a great Psycho-Billy band known as The Quakes that did a Rolling Stones cover of Paint It Black you should definitally check into...
