| It was several minutes before Cyro caught the woman he was chasing after. He had her on the ground with the Nearsight point at her. The woman was breathing heavily, partially from fear of being shot. Cyro was exactly full of energy himself a bit tired and mentally frustrated at the excessive amount of time wasted going on a wild goose chase. Apparantly he was dealing with someone who was good at escaping. It also seemed she had some intell on his weapon, making it difficult for him to target her. He was suspicious when he realized she had been running to buildings with thicker than normal walls, risking her life by travelling long distances just to reach a specific place. It may very well have been luck that he caught her.
"So,... here we are Ms. Raya," he said under his breath. "I don't think I'll go so easy on you if you try to escape now." The woman stared back at him with angry eyes. She knew he was right. "So you want me to either go with you or be killed, is that right?" she asked with sarcasm. "That's correct, Ms. Raya." he answered. "Please, call me Angeline." "As you wish. Now, stand up and turn around." The woman hesitated for a moment then slowly got up and face the other direction, initiating one last eye contact. Cyro proceeded to handcuff her with zipties and stepped back to observe. Something still wasn't right, and he knew what it was. "Forgive me, Ms. .... Angeline." he said. "Oh," she replied, "and for what!" "For making this such a bad date." Cyro raised the butt of his weapon and struck in the back of her head. She dropped to her knees and fell forward to the ground. "And for having to do that, " he added while folding his weapon back up. "I can't really trust you while you are conscious. | The armor protecting the guards neck prevents the blade from penetrating, but the sharp impact causes 16 DMG and makes it hard to breath. He spends a few seconds tyring to get his breathing to normal and then launches an attack your way.

| The Steel Puff is damaged with the immense pressure being put around it and suffers 6 Dmg. The Steel Puff retaliates by sending out an electrical blast in your hand which is mostly absorbed by your magic and causes 1 Dmg to you. Upon having half it's life taken away, the Steel Puff emits a very strong magnetic field. The force of its power pulls it to the floor, landing with a clang. The other two Steel Puffs are affected and also drop to the ground. The power of the field causes an addtional 5 Dmg to the Steel Puff as well as the others. Any metal you are carrying has a drastic pull on you, forcing you to become slower in movement.

| The student's punch missed and he was left watching you perform your actions above him. The Supreme Trainer motioned him to stand aside and stop the fight, yelling up to you at the same time.
"Nicely done, Jade! You can come down now!" The Supreme Trainer then used a spell called Ground Zero to thaw the ground. Flames quicly spread out in a circle along the ground, and melted away almost all the ice that formed. Upon your return he walks up to you. "Good job, Jade.You've done just as I asked. Hopfully you will see that creating lengthy actions will make fights a bit more enjoyable, for both your self and your opponent. The young man here specializes in chi techniques. He had planned to hit you with that energy burst from his palm, but unfortunately for him he was unable to use it. Now then, this concludes the lesson, and essentially, your training. You have successfully learned all knowledge I've given to you. However, remembering and putting it to use will be up to you. There are also other things to learn during your journey, but I have left those for you to find yourself. Congratulations." Supreme Trainer calls forth several people to gather around and tells you to step forward. He pulls out his shining sword from its golden sheath and raises it up. The sunlight made it shimmer and it almost seemed to let off a glow of its own. He brings it down and gently rests it on top of your head as he begins to announce something. "I hereby decree that this young woman, Jade, has been given my blessing as a warrior, as well as the spirits that dwell within thy sword! Let all know that he has the knowledge from my teachings and will be protected and guided by them during his time as a warrior. His journey may be long and difficult, but he will overcome any obstacles." The Supreme Trainer sheaths his sword and places his hands upon your shoulders. Everyone applauds as they stare at a new champion standing before them. "A joyous moment this is, Jade. Indeed it is. As a reward, I will give you something very special." The Supreme Trainer reaches inside his shirt behind his chest plating and pulls out an unsual looking tan rock with an engraving on it. He holds it out to you so you can get a good look. "This rock is not what it seems. Although it looks ordinary enough, it something very rare and special. It is called a "God Mod" stone. Do you know what one is, Jade? Yes No So, do you understand? Excellent. This is what has been protecting me from your attacks. I pray you use it only when you have to. You are about to set out on journey different from everybody else's. It would seem to be like a quest, but it is not. I do not know the nature of this feeling, but you should know about it. Take caution and look out for yourself. Things and events may not be what they seem. Now, go. Begin your new lifestyle and become a grand person. Your true life has just begun.... *Challenge Complete* You've graduated from your training! Announcements: You completed your character training! You've recieved a God Mod Stone! Your current life points have increased by 30! Challenges 3, 4, and 5 are now available! | **Special note for Challenge 4**
This is one of the challenges mentioned in the sticky thread in which you can do with another participant. The rules to this however are that your partner has to be participating in the SBC and he/she is required to at least have that challenge available to them if not already beaten. If you want to get ahead of everyone else then you should do it by yourself. Having a partner does make it a bit easier to do, though. |

You've begun your travel to meet with a master for your training to fight after so long. You set out in a journey to the city in which he resides and soon enter a beautiful field filled with flowers and grass. There is a soft warm wind breezing by with a bright sun up in the clear sky. A wonderful day…until while walking you feel something small and and soft ram into the back of your head. You turn around to see what it was only to get a very surprising hit in the face by the same thing. You nearly fall back, but quickly catch your self. After rubbing your face you look up to see 3 small, pink floating furry objects hovering about. “Pink Puffs…” you think to yourself. It seems you have invaded their territory and aroused their anger. Another moves in and thumps in the face a few times, *fmp* *fmp*…*fmp* You become angry yourself and force it away by swinging your arms. You then pull out your weapon and prepare to give them a beating they won’t forget. If it’s a fight they want, then a fight they’ll get! | "Well now," he said to himself while looking down a strip of several restaurants, "where to eat?
At a small soup shop Cyro sucked up noodles into his mouth. For a moment the bitter chicken flavor, sprinkled with various seasonings and spices, made him let go of the day's recent activities. His face had a bit of dirt on it, covered by bits of lingering sweat that made it shine in the light. Thoughts of his alignment crossed his mind for a brief period. Government.... Cyro had never really given the organization a lot of thought. He never learned of it's origin, how it came to be. Just that conquring instead of being conquered was the best thing to do for him to make sure he stayed alive. He was a bit of a rebel and would have gone up against Government for the sheer fun if his life wasn't at stake. Years and years ago there was little talk among christains in America. Some prophecy, according to the Bible, that people would try to bring about the "New World Order". A term he found to be pretty stupid. He pictured a group of idiots with the minds of angst-filled teens tyring to get the world to have things their way. The very thought brought up a negative emotion toward it. But, is Government like that? Are they the same way, trying to install a new order to the world? Taking over countries is war. You can't change governments without it. Sounds a liitle like a political apocalypse to me. And why is the leader doing this? What is his goal? Is it something stupid? Cyro found himself beginning to have an angry view toward his leader. He didn't quite understand what was going on at a plane of the whole picture. What if he didn't like the reason? What if he wasn't suited to be leader in the first place? Cyro's daydream came to an abrupt end when he recieved a call. He was informed to report back. He hung up and finished eating. After he paid the bill he look around the room, observing the people. He then turned back and stared blankly at the he sat at. A hollow feeling surfaced at that time. One that was brought up when he suddenly thought about the woman he had captured earlier. Damn..... | A lot of people here, myself especially, use magic in their battles. Everyone pretty much knows what elementals are out there, but for those of us who have creativity at work often there may be other elementals that we like to use. In this thread I'll provide a list of the basic elementals. I want people to discuss if they want those to be official elementals for simbattling here at this board. If you think one or two should be removed from the list or one or two should go in then make your list. I plan to make a sticky thread containing the "official" magic elementals for this board. If you have an original elemental that you created and would like to be part of the list feel free to post it and get everyone's opinions of it. Make sure there is an elemtal that opposes it, though. We can't have some invincible magic with no way of getting around. Here is the list I had in mind:
Fire Ice Electric/Lightning Water Wind Earth Holy Hell/Evil Light Dark Poison Non Elemental Now, as I mentioned before, if you think a couple should be added or taken away please say so. Make note that I have separated Holy and Hell into two other elementals each. Light came from Holy to be physical light magic and Dark came from Evil to turn out the same way. Being on that topic, I would like to submit an elemental that I created a long time ago. Those who have read through my bio may have noticed something called "Energy Elemental". To have a very good idea of what this is simply picture lasers. There's more to it than that, but it's pretty much the gist of it. Energy elemental can be counter with Electric magic. The spells I have designed for it range from weak to strong, giving it variety. And those spells are the of same strength as spells from the other magic elementals. |

| I think I sometimes find deep pink and light purple to be confusing, but I can usually tell them apart. I've had a few colorblind tests since my time in the Army and I've done well in them all. | |||

| I'm with Xeo on this topic. I could use a little weight. I'm at around 140, being 5'9. My goal weight is 150. I'll be satisfied once I reach that. Bodybuilding has helped a lot though. I used to weigh 135 earlier this year, but I put on a lot of muscle. I also have a high metabolism. A very high one. I like to say that I practically burn calories just by chewing the food their in. |
