First, what are you running on? Name the ENTIRE specifications of your computer

Second: What does the error say?

Third: Is your disc scratched?

Answer those and Ill give you a final answer....

I'll give you some tech help off the horrible information you gave.

Either it's your disc,
your harddrive is messed up,
missing some files,
your comuter has an internal problem,
your game isn't compatible with your comp

Yea.

Maybe your harddrive is full, if it's having trouble copying files onto it. There might be enough space for other files... but not the ones you get an error on.

Usually westwood studios checks your hard drives before they install the files from the Disc to your HD, So I dont think its that...

You need to be more specific Nuclearknight...its not helping on what your telling us...=P

If you're on WinXP, make sure you're on a admin account.

It might not like some files the installer is copying.

Or like Kaijin said, might be an harddrive problem.

Now we're rollin.

Heres the scoop. When yoru dad uninstalled it, the uninstaller took out a critical file that would allow specific files to copy over. Your not going to get that game again. The CD is now corrupt when you use it on your comp.

It MIGHT still work on aother computer. But past that, your screwed.

I dont think its the CD....However you can always do the the ol' fashon "Reformatting" your hard drive....but thats removing EVERYTHING on your computer and starting over from scratch...

When you un-installed it, did you go through the wizard? Or did you just delete it alltogether?

I could be wrong kaijin...but something dosent sound right to me...

he said his dad uninstalled it, so I doubt he'd truely know.

With my past experiences of people screwing around with uninstallers, his dad probably accedently deleted a file that would allow that perticular CD to copy over once more.

I've seen it happen once before, and it's a pain in the ass to fix.

So in a nut-shell were both right? O.o?....

To me its the only possiable solution...

Just tell your dad to reformat the HD, reinstall Windows, and start over your computer from scratch....thats what I would do...

A lesson to learn, Never fuck with un-installers unless you know what your doing...Some program files NEED each other to operate your OS...Even the gaming files sometimes....
