Now that the first season of Gundam 00 is over (it was great, IMO), the time spot is going to be taken over by Code Geass.

I honestly can't wait for it, because season one was basically a massive cliffhanger

I didn't know until recently, but it's apparently supposed to be an "original story" and not based off the manga or anything like season one. So it'll be interesting how it turns out I guess.

Honestly can't wait though.

So I've just watched it, it was amazing. Spoilers ahead:

- Lelouch doesn't remember being Zero, apparently has a younger brother.

- Staring Karen as a Bunny Girl.

- C.C has an awesome new outfit.

- Lelouch gets his power back in one of the most epic moments I've ever seen in an anime.

- Suzuka takes orders directly from the Emperor.

- End episode.

All in all, it's worth waiting for each week.

Haha. Anyways, definitely epic. I hear Eclipse is probably the best group to go with. The resolution is insane too, I guess they're showing this in HD.

Emperor's Geass is (IMO) an advanced version of Lelouch's (I mean, fucking with people's memories, that's even more powerful).

The shrine where the Emperor is is apparently some kind of weapon.

Suzaku hate.

Well it makes Lelouch look even more awesome and more like a good guy now.

The Emperor having a Geass ... wow, that's intense. And his supposed "Brother". I hope this doesn't get too over the top though and only a few people have it. We have to wonder, was Suzaku given one too from that little girl?

Well, now that there's more here up to date with this show, what do you guys think of it so far?

Maybe I'm letting /a/ get to me or whatnot, but it's gone downhill quite a bit for me. Right now, I have to say Macross F is easily beating it out as my favorite this season. The sad thing is, just look at my above posts in this thread ... it was explosive at first, but "wtf episode" after "wtf episode" finally kind of got to me.

I have a lot of complaints, if you guys want to hear them just let me know. But so far, it seems like the overall plot hasn't really "done anything" and it just seems like a huge letdown after how amazing the first season was.

I mean I like romance too, but eh, compared to something like Full Metal Panic or whatnot, this series just isn't doing it that well.

WTF, weren't they relatives though? ...

But ehhhh, guess that's not that big of a deal in Japan...

CC's still my favorite out of the chicks and I still think they'd make the best couple. Shirley, just shouldn't get involved. Kallen is strongminded and can handle herself on her own. CC and Lelouch ... I don't know, they just work.
