Each to their own opinion. I liked the beginning, but as time went on it became meh.

I was watching power rangers and though about how I should suggest it here as well. Not an anime, but the same exact storyline as all of these shounen animes, hahahaha.

EDIT: Typo fix.

SAMURAI X! also if you like the movie, there is a series called Rurouni Kenshin that takes place after it and follows the main character, you don't have to watch the movie to enjoy the series, it's awesome.

I'll add it to my extensive list. Finding time for all of this is going to be hectic.

I, honestly, recommend watching Rurouni Kenshin before watching Samurai X. I could have sworn that Samurai X took places afterwards..

Not a problem.
I'll look into it. Is it any good?

And Xeo, that will never happen. I already dropped everything for Xeogaming!
Between work and college, there is no way I can have all of this done. I haven't anything new for at least a week.

Rurouni Kenshin is absolutely incredible. I can't even slightly imagine you not enjoying it. The action is great. The comedy is great. Everything is amazing.

To answer a previous question Samurai X takes place before Rurouni Kenshin, but i can't seem to find it anywhere and that makes me upset, i'll just borrow it because i want to watch it again. But Phoenix you will love it, it is amazing and it's not just samurai there are a lot of other things too and the comedy can be hilarious.

It really does though... if that's what you're wondering.

I don't know if I'd totally recommend the show over the manga though, I've heard the third major arc is pure filler and not nearly as good as where the manga goes. But I do want to watch the show someday myself. The manga is definitely awesome.

Thank you for the praise, but it turns out they were right. I just make it out of be a prequel you should watch after you've seen the series.

The manga is fabulous, but the anime is still incredible. If you're looking for anime, at least give it a try.

Haha. I never thought you to be wrong when it came to anime

I'm looking around for the anime, but I have no idea where to find it. Where do I get my hands on manga? I've never read any before..

download download download download download download or read onliiinnnee

I'm pretty damn horrible when it comes to manga. I'm at the point where I really don't buy manga. I really don't want it to fill up my bookshelves and never be read again.

Reading manga online is becoming less popular, but I love http://www.mangatraders.com/ for downloading it.

I totally agree, that was an excellent site. Not only that, but mangafox.com took off all of their licensed stuff. There isn't any good places to read manga anymore.
