| Ok.. here's what's going on.. Me and Kaijin are going to start up our own little IT(computer building and repair) business here in medford... We're starting to plan everything out but there's only one problem..
We cant think up a good name for it.. can you guys help us out? If you want to know more just im me or something and Ill explain a little more..

Masters of Pixels Binary Revolution Computer Wizards Chaotic Computers The name "cheap" makes you sound cheap, or your service is low quality. Do you think a lot of people are going to go into your store when they see the title "Cheap". Some might thinking you deal good service with cheap prices but most won't. You could probably put cheap in a slogan or something. |

| Guys, it's "Cheap I.T's"
not just Cheap o.O I. T. stance for Information Technicion (if I rmember right) thus it'll be just fine. since we'll be dealing with more then just the hardware inside the computer. We'll also be dealing with HTML help, the harddrive data iself, installing programs... basically anything that's technical. |

| Kaijin, we know that you weren't planning the name to be just "Cheap." What we were saying is that the word "cheap" is often associated with less-than-mediocre work/acts/whatever.
However, I read Geoff's post as saying you guys were going to name your business "Cheap - It's our name" not "Cheap I.T.s" That was a misread on my part. You'll want something snazzy that will appeal to both the older and younger generations. A lot of people will see "I.T" and be like "WTF?" Ya know? Think as if you were your mum's age, and your computer's slow, you want to debug it. You open the phone book, and see something called "*something snazzy that conveys computer repair*" and that's going to be the first one you call. *shrugs* A name has a lot to do with what you present to your potential customers, trust me. Ryan and I are still working on the name for our arcade.
Keep thinking. I will too, but it's something that can take a while to think about and decide on. Good luck. |
